Our Nursery and Out of School Clubs are open. Contact us to find out more: firstname.lastname@example.org
The Out of School Clubs are open during term time with the exception of Bank Holidays. They meet a great need for many parents, offering the children a fun place to go before and after school. Staff are qualified and experienced, and they offer a professional and quality service to your family.
YMCA Chelmsford runs seven Breakfast Clubs and Out of School Clubs as part of our childcare services. The locations are as follows:
- YMCA (children from the Cathedral School)
- Westlands Community School
- Writtle Junior School
- Galleywood schools
- Larkrise Primary School
- Baddow School
- Trinity Road School
The Breakfast Clubs are open from 7.30am during term time with the exception of Bank Holidays. Breakfast will be available up to 8.15am for children attending the club. The children are walked to/dropped off at their local school. The YMCA Out of School club is the only one that accepts children from other schools, as long as their own transport is arranged.
Out of School Clubs (afterschool)
The Out of School Clubs are based at venues around Chelmsford (see the above list) and are open from 3.00pm till 6.00pm. Children are collected from their school, and the YMCA Out of School Club accepts children from other schools with their own transport arrangements.
They meet up with friends and can take part in a wide variety of activities each evening. These include crafts, sport, games, computing, drama, as well as an area for homework and quiet activities.
A healthy snack is provided for the children on their return from school, and a light tea is provided around 4.30pm. A family atmosphere is encouraged to provide the children with a home-from-home situation as much as possible.
