Take part in one of our 30 Day Challenge this April.
We’re challenging you to take up new activities. To help you feel active, feel motivated and set your own goals this April.
Covid-19 has impacted us all, particularly young people. Our 30 Day Challenge is designed to promote a healthier lifestyle, mindset and unity – we can come together as a community, for a common goal, even if we must remain physically apart for a little longer.
By having fun and raising vital funds for charity, you can really make a difference.
What is the 30 Day Challenge?
We have a range of challenges for everyone to try! All you need to do is pick and complete one challenge a day through April – you can choose your own challenge or choose one a day from our list (below) of 100! All we ask is that you really push yourself and do something you’d normally find difficult to do, shout about YMCA Essex, spread the word of what we do and maybe even raise a pound or two whilst you’re at it! Our promise will be to deliver 30 days’ worth of information, insight and inspiration to help you and others along the way.
With your support, we can help create a better tomorrow for children, young people and families. Sign up now!

We have come up with a couple of log sheets you might want to use.
The first one has 100 different activities young people thought up that might be fun to do!
The second log sheet has been kept clear, so that you can pick your own challenge (or challenges), with a view to spending 30 minutes per day on your chosen activity. This could be walking, running, cycling, meditating, reading… whatever activity suits you!
