Youth Clubs are a safe place where young people can relax, build friendships and learn new skills. We offer informal education and support for young people, offering life skills and supporting their wellbeing. Qualified staff take time to get to know and listen to young people, helping them feel safe, guiding them to make positive choices and offering advice where needed. Youth workers run tailored sessions to support current issues young people are facing. Attending youth club is a brilliant way to build new skills, develop friendships and raise self-esteem. Turn up and register on the evening OR register in advance below.
We currently offer family support in several schools around Essex. Our fantastic Family Support Coordinators work closely with children and families that are referred to them by each school. The support takes place in school and can also include home visits. If you are a school interested in our family support service, please contact becky.whitaker@ymcaessex.org.uk
